Partners is a National Lottery-funded initiative giving communities with little experience of the arts new opportunities to engage with professional artists.

The artists are based and work in collaboration with, the Step Up Project and Bute Healthy Living Initiative.

Each of the Artists have their own specialist art form.  As part of the residency, the artists will work in a community setting for around 50% of their residency and spend the remainder developing their own work.

All the artists will be living in town,

based at Longhill Learning & Resource Centre

but will work out in the community with

community groups.

The Step Up Project is a Social Inclusion Partnership initiative most of its funding comes through the Community Regeneration Fund.  We report through the local Area Development Group, a partnership of local and statutory organisations.

The project is based in the Longhill Learning & Resource Centre

Thank You Kelly.

Kelly completed our first residency in early February 2007, having made a huge impact and many friends
