Learning & Skills development is no longer our only focus but it is still central to our way of working.  Our  workshops, courses and classes are tailor made to suit the groups we work with.  We still work in partnership with other skills & learning agencies, the Council’s CBAL programme, Bute Healthy Living’s Community Health programmes, as well as many other partner organisations.  We aim to support individuals who have been excluded or may need extra support to take part in more mainstream courses on   offer, or just help to build people’s confidence to take on new challenges in a supportive friendly atmosphere.

Learning, Employment & Skills Development

There is still a high demand for introductory IT courses. Many beginners courses are on offer through the Councils CBAL programme or with Argyll  College. For those who are not sure or want a bit of a try out before signing up

you can pop in on  any Thursday morning 10am - 1pm.  We offer support sessions to help getting you started whether it’s using a computer or using the internet...

Drop In Sessions

Our Reaching Out programme is aimed at groups in the community who have in the past not been able to take part in the opportunities on offer.  We can offer support and the use of  the Resources Centre. Together we would  work with your group on  a tailor made programme or in some instances we can bring some of the resources to your group. Want to know more?
